With a distinguished career spanning decades, Edward Adelman has played a pivotal role in preserving and interpreting America's rich cultural heritage. Edward's work encompasses the preparation of comprehensive historic preservation plans, cultural landscape reports, and interpretation documents for various national parks. His meticulous research and authorship of Historic Structure Reports have been instrumental in guiding the restoration and rehabilitation of nationally significant landmarks.
From the National Capital Parks in Washington, DC, Maryland, and West Virginia to Lowell National Historical Park in Massachusetts and Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area in Ohio, Edward has been at the forefront of projects that commemorate and interpret pivotal moments and figures in American history.
His expertise extended to managing the National Historic Landmarks program in Ohio as the liaison for the Midwest Regional Office of the National Park Service. Through his work, Edward has ensured that America's architectural and cultural treasures are preserved for future generations, balancing historical integrity with modern functionality.
